Can I use the my PMI-ACP PDU's to maintain my PMP Certification?


I am project management professional certification holder & I have to earn PDUs to maintain my certification. I was planning to go for PMI-ACP certification.  I had this question in my mind since a while. "Can I use the my PMI-ACP PDU's to maintain my PMP Certification?"  

 The PDU Insider newsletter from best project management coach Cornelius Fichtner has answered it as "Yes" 
Question was: 
I am PMI PMP certified and would like to know if I get PMI ACP certified, are there PMI ACP PDU's that I can use to maintain my existing PMI PMP certification?I am PMI PMP certified and would like to know if I get PMI ACP certified, are there PMI ACP PDU's that I can use to maintain my existing PMI PMP certification?

 Answer:  Yes. If you are taking a PMI-ACP exam preparation course then you will earn 21 Contact Hours. These will also count toward your PMP recertification .

 So now I am going buy The Agile PrepCast for preparation of my PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® Exam. That serves both purposes . Maintaining my PMP certification as well as prep for new PMI-ACP certification.
